We believe that great athletes aren’t just born - they’re built. After years as a competitive athlete, fitness enthusiast, coach, and youth sports director, Alyssa saw glaring examples of the gaps between athlete preparation and success. She knew there was a better way.

Hi, my name is Alyssa Hellman, a Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Nutrition Coach through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and the founder of Dynamic Performance Training (DPT).

With a passion for athletic development, injury prevention and performance optimization, I work with athletes of all levels to help them move better, train smarter, and compete harder.

With years of experience in youth and competitive sports training as well as my personal background as a competitive athlete, I know firsthand that success comes from hard work, proper mechanics, and a commitment to continuous improvement. My coaching approach is built on education, motivation, and individualized programming, ensuring that each athlete receives the training they need to thrive.

Our Training Philosophy

At DPT, we take a holistic approach to performance training focusing on:

  • Speed Development - Acceleration, top-end speed, deceleration, and movement mechanics.

  • Strength & Power - Sport-specific (and age-appropriate) strength training for explosiveness and endurance.

  • Agility & Reaction Training - Quick footwork, coordination, and game-speed movements as well as neurological reaction work to get them thinking and moving faster.
